Welcome to February 2011! The month for back to school, packing lunches and the associated fun stuff.

The February Kit is one of my favourite releases. This kit is perfect for scrapping photos of you, or take the pinks from the Basic Grey Hopscotch range and scrap the little girl in your life. You could look at the blues and greens in the October Afternoon Campfire range and use it to scrap the boys in your life as well.

Hi Everyone

Welcome to the first post for 2011. With the break in kits over December I did some thinking about some changes with Sissey. The main change being that currently kits are released on the first of each month and then not posted until closer to the middle of the month. I am changing it so that all kits will be released on the 4th of the month and immediately available for posting. Credit card subscribers this will mean your kits will be posted straight after your payment has been approved. Direct Debit subscribers your kits will be posted once I have received notification of your payment. A limited number of kits will remain available for one off purchases each month and these can be paid either by credit card or direct debit.

The Limited Edition Kit will remain a feature although I will only release these every second month. The first of these to be released in February 2011. Again the cost will be dependent to the product used but on average will be around $22.00. Postage will remain the same at an additional $2.00 when posted with another kit.

So now onto the January Kit - this kit is perfect for any of those photos taken over the holidays of all members of the family - the colour palette focuses on blues and greens making it highly adaptable. Featuring great brands such as Basic Grey, Bo-Bunny and Tim Holtz. Email me info@sissey.com.au to order your kit today.

I love bold colours and these layouts are no exception - full of strong brights perfect for boy or family layouts. The Pink Paislee chipboard letters were fantastic for titles and the worn edge look suited every colour scheme I used. I'll have one last sneak peek later in the week before the whole layouts are uploaded to the gallery.

Welcome to August! This month's main kit is all about the boys....but it's still versatile I scrapped my daughter and dog using this kit. It's filled with some great products from Pink Paislee and Paper Inklings (another of our wonderful Australian companies). This month we have given a kit to a Guest Designer who along with the ever delightful Sandie Mallon have created some fantastic projects to give you inspiration for ideas using this kit.

And here's a little bit about our Guest Designer for August...

I've been scrapping for over ten years now and I love that I can just about always start and finish a layout in around an hour - unlike many of the other craftsI have taken my hand to over the years. Scrapbooking really is instant and accessible and gives me a great sense of accomplishment as well as a creative outlet. As a mother of two I know just how frustrating it is when you get started on a project and continually get interrupted!

I enjoy the challenge of creating with a kit - it is always fun to try and do something "different" when you know so many other people are working with the same kit! It is also lovely to have the hard work of coordinating papers and embellishments done for you by someone who really knows what they are doing.

Welcome Petrina! We can't wait to see what amazing projects you and Sandie have instore for us this month.

A lil more about ME

I am from PERTH and reside in Mandurah its safe to say I have a rather large family.. that i adore most of the time lol I have been scrapping pages for the last 3years before that I mostly did OTP stuff which i still love creating.. my style is all over the place.. bit like my star sign GEMINI I love to scrap and drink lots of HOT CHOCOLATE :)and LOADS of COKE... i have the ability to not only type 60 words a minute .. i can speak that fast too .. i think faster is more like it...

where do i start with the sneak peaks ..
i have created so much already..
This is an album I am currently working on..using all my left over bits and lots of bright making memories paints from my stash

Here we are at very nearly the beginning of July. I am working tomorrow so thought I would give you all a peek at the yummy July Kits just a few hours early. It is a very girly kit - perfect for those of us who scrap girls. Those of you with boys perfect excuse to scrap yourself - Don't worry the August Kit is the opposite :). We also have a Guest Designer working with us this month and I am sure that you will all make her feel welcome - she does fabulous work and you will have certainly seen some of her terrific work in your favourite mags. I will let her introduce herself when she releases sneak peeks of some of her projects that she has been working on.

The Must Have It All kit features some great Maya Road goodies as well as those divine Handmade by Sandie daisies (I personally can't get enough of them at the moment).The Monthly Kit hasn't missed out on the yummy Maya Road goodies. This is a perfect moderately priced kit with some great products.

It's been a busy few months here at Sissey.

Introducing Ann Lederhose

I would like to introduce you to Ann Lederhose (a familiar name to many Sissey subscribers - as she was on Michelle's DT as well). I was very happy to hear that Ann would be joining our fabulous team and I look forward to seeing more of her work.

A few words from Ann...

My name is Ann Lederhose. I am the very fortunate mother of 2 beautiful children and the equally fortunate wife of one loving husband. I’ve been scrapping for over 5 years. Its been a whirlwind adventure, that’s for sure. I’ve been very lucky to have been selected on quite a few design teams over the years and have won awards with For Keeps magazine and Scrapbooking Memories. I am currently a designer of chipboard products for Stuff 2 Scrap and also teaching at my local scrapbooking store.

I’m very excited to have been invited back on the Sissey team and would like to wish Kathy every success. I’m sure she will continue to bring to us a gorgeous collaboration of supplies each month in her kits and I just can’t wait to get stuck in and start creating.

I would like to introduce Sarah Moore to the team of Sissey Designers. Sarah does stunning work and will provide you with some wonderful inspiration with her creative projects.

A few words from Sarah -

Hi I am Sarah Moore from Townsville. I am married to Steve, a Australian Army Officer so we are always on the move!!. We have been married for nearly 12years We have 3 kids Aimee 17, Alex 13 and James 11. And a cat called Latte. I have been scrapbooking since 2003 and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have had some of my work published in the US, Canada and here in Australia. It's also been a great way to meet people all over the world. I feel honoured to be asked to be on the Sissey Design Team and look forward to making some fantastic projects to share.

And frequent readers of the blog will have seen Sherry's post of some of the other wonderful projects which she made.

A few words from Sherry :)

I am a very proud Air Force wife with four gorgeous (sometimes willing) photographic subjects...oops I mean children who range in age from 4 years to 23 years! I have been doing some kind of craft since I could hold a pair of scissors and have been seriously scrapping for 10 or so years. I scrap for family, friends and to keep my sanity LOL! The October Kit is now up for sale through the website - http://www.sissey.com.au/ . It's a fabulous kit full of lots of yummy scrapbooking goodness. The October Kit features the Autumn Bliss range from Little Yellow Bicycle and SEI's Moravia range. Embellishments included in addition to Little Yellow Bicycle and SEI - Collections, Jenni Bowlin and Tim Holtz. (Collections and Jenni Bowlin only available through the Must Have It All Kit). Pictured Kit is part of the Must Have It All.

Remember each Kit now comes with written instructions to recreate layouts or projects as designed by our fantastic Design Team members. Hi Everyone

Happy first day of Spring! Hope you had a glimpse of spring weather where you live today. Well September 1 is also the release of my first Sissey kit since taking over from Michelle - who has been sunning herself in beautiful Bali for 2 weeks while I've been getting everything sorted here. So I hope you will bare with me through the hiccups. So here are a couple of sneak peeks for you (just little ones :D) and a full list of what's included in the yummy kits. I was hopeful that I would be able to release the Limited Edition Kit but unfortunately the stock has not arrived in time - but keep an eye on the blog and I'll let everyone know when they will be released.

A New Owner & A New Kit

Hi Everyone

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new owner of Sissey. I am so excited to be taking over the reins of Sissey from the delightful Michelle.

I have been a Sissey subscriber for about 18 months and think there is nothing better than receiving a pizza box full of yummy co-ordinating goodies to scrap with, and the pink tissue paper and chocolates were pretty good too! I hope that you will enjoy coming on this new journey with me.

Over the next few weeks you will notice a few changes occuring in the day-to-day general runnings of Sissey. Such as change of bank details etc. However the email address will not change so please if you have any questions don't hesitate to email.

My first anticipated kit release will be in September - sneak peeks for this kit will be available from September 1st.

All kits will go on sale from the first of each month.
Credit Cards will be charged and Direct Deposits are due on the 15th of each month
Paypal requests will be forwarded on or around 13th of each month
Full details of each kit will be listed on the 13th of each month

NEW KIT!!!!!!
We will be releasing a LIMITED EDITION Kit each month - currently this will not be available on subscription and will be sold on a first in first served basis.
There is a set number of these kits and once they are sold that's it.
The LIMITED EDITION kit will be $31.95 with FREE postage if included with another Monthly Kit or Must Have It All Kit. Postage will be $6.95 if no other kit purchased.
The items included in the LIMITED EDITION Kit are NOT included in either the Monthly Kit or the Must Have It All Kit.

I would also like to inform you that due to family circumstances after the June kit, I will be taking a break for 4 months. June will be my last kit before this break. This has been a very hard decision I have had to make as I have really enjoyed putting the kits together each month. As you may be aware my husband Bruno is a policeman and has had to do a lot of work as a result of the Victorian Bushfires and has been away a lot. This has put a lot of strain on my family and at the moment I need to concentrate on my family. I will send you all an email to let you know when I will be starting up my next kit. Personally I have had 2 crazy weeks, Carly and Maddy had their dance concert last Sunday. They where in 3 acts and there was 2 concerts on the 1 day. The day started at 8am doing hair and make up, the first concert was at 1pm and the second at 7pm, and did not finish until midnight, so we where all very tired on Monday. But they did a great job and I was so proud I will post some pics up of them in the next few days. They both got a trophy and Maddy got an extra medal as she was the youngest in the class, all the others are 7 and 8 and she is only 5, so she received an award for being the being the youngest but still be able to stand her own ground against the older girls. I was very proud! Carly was also really good and had improved so much from last year, she actually remembered the routine.
Then last Tuesday Maddy got her tonsils and Adnoids out, poor thing. So we both were in Hospital for a couple of nights, she is doing really good considering, but very clingy. So now we are house bound still for the next couple of days. But one advantage is the kits are already packed and ready to be sent out tomorrow.

School Hollidays have started here in Victoria, so as you do we went away for the first weekend! I packed my Laptop but for some unknown reason did not pack my Wireless Broadband card. So apologies for having no Sneak Peeks earlier. So here are a few to make up for it.

I just love the double sided papers.

A Busy Week!

I Just LOVE Birthdays and cannot help myself, my baby Maddy turned 5 last Thursday and it seems all we have had is party after party. It started with a little party at Kinder on Thursday and then family over that night. Then Sunday she had a fairy party at Fields of fairies in Berwick. How great it was, evverything was all done for me and no mess to clean up afterwards. They have a litttle room for the children to play in and a fairy entertains them all the time, I had to do nothing. Maddy and carly had a great time. As usual she got lots of presents, but her favourite on is her skates from my dear friend george (she wanted to sleep in them). So here are some of my favourite pics form the last couple of days. Oh, yes and the cake was made from my very talented friend Debbi Ucar, thanks Deb. Of course cannot forget about the curls she has had to have everyday!
